"What time do Apple Stores restock?" is one of the most-searched questions after any iPhone launch. The honest answer is less tidy than people hope, but there is still a lot you can do with it.
There is no published schedule
Apple does not publish restock times for its stores. Anyone who gives you an exact daily time, such as "every day at 7am", is guessing or generalising from a few observations. Delivery times vary by store, country, day and configuration.
What we can say with confidence:
- Apple Stores receive stock regularly, often daily. That is a normal part of how retail stores operate.
- Each store is separate. Deliveries to one store tell you nothing about the store across town.
- Availability is shown online. When a store can offer a configuration for pickup, apple.com shows it. That is the signal that matters.
Launch day morning
Stores typically receive stock for launch day. For the iPhone Duo, that is Friday 23 October 2026 in the US, UK and more than 70 other countries and regions, and 30 October for the second wave. Pickup availability can appear on the morning of launch and in the days after. Missing pre-orders does not mean waiting until January.
Why "restock times" are so hard to pin down
Even when a delivery arrives, a few things affect when it shows online:
- Processing. Stock has to be received and counted before it can be offered.
- Existing orders. Some units go to pickup orders that are already waiting.
- Configurations. A delivery might contain one storage size or colour and not others.
So the visible moment, when pickup becomes available, can be any time the store is open, and sometimes outside opening hours.
A practical approach
Since you cannot know the time in advance, the answer is to check often, or have something check for you:
- Manual: check your store's pickup availability first thing in the morning, around midday and in the early evening. It is free, and it works if you are persistent.
- Automated: iPhone Duo Finder checks your chosen store regularly and emails you as soon as it shows stock. It is a one-off £5 for any configuration, or £10 for your exact storage and colour.
We keep our checks polite, grouped by store, spaced out and capped. The goal is to tell you quickly, not to hammer Apple's website.
What an alert will and will not do
An alert tells you when to look. It does not reserve a phone, and we cannot guarantee you will get one, because others may be looking at the same moment. Act fast when it arrives: have your Apple Account signed in and payment details saved.
